SCIENCE EXHIBITION
“Science begins with wonder, scientific temperament and rational thinking”
February 28th was World Science Day as we had the Science Exhibition for Grade 1-10 . Inspired ,encouraged and motivated by the teachers and the parents, the budding scientists of Vedanta displayed different models and experiments with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The exhibition was open from 10.00am to 1.00 pm and the parents were also provided an opportunity to view it. The event provided a platform for scientific explorations and innovations for the future scientists.

EARTH DAY
Earth Day was celebrated through educational and action-oriented activities that were fun. Children learnt the importance of preserving the planet earth. Students expressed their views by making short speeches in English. Colouring activity was conducted for Pre-primary students. Most prominent was a big earth made by students and the chart work displaying ‘Every Day, Earth Day’. students took the oath on Earth Day to protect the earth from pollution and abuse. Ms. Chitradevi EVS Teacher addressed the students emphasizing the importance of planting trees and the need for everyone to put together their efforts and get into action, in protecting our environment.
DANCE DAY
Vedanta celebrated International Dance Day showcasing amazing diversity and spirit of dance with zeal on its premises. Students presented various dances to mark the occasion. Principal Mrs.KavithaVijayakumar applauded the students for their performance on dance day.
CO-CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES
Children are offered a lot of opportunities for leadership training, building self esteem and self confidence, self expression through Yoga, Dance, Art and craft and sports as a part of the curriculum of the school, thereby helping in the formation of a balanced and integrated personality. We have professional instructors to train the students and increase their expertise in these activities.

SPORTS &GAMES
At Vedanta, sports and games form is an integral and compulsory part of the education process. Sports help to build character and teach the importance of discipline in life. It inculcates a respect for rules and allows the participants to learn the value of self-control. Students who excel in their field of sport are sent to compete at Taluka, District and State Level championships.
